I've been working in broadcasting for more than four decades….it's a career that has included several major market radio stations & syndicators, television networks, and production & advertising companies in the New York and Washington, DC metropolitan areas.

With a degree in Speech/Communications from The American University in Washington, DC, in the early 1970s I got a job in New York radio at WABC-FM. That summer job eventually turned into a 15-year stint with ABC at their New York flagship FM station, WPLJ and on their affiliates through the ABC Radio Network. Over the years I have worked for ABC, NBC HBO, Rolling Stone Magazine, Cinemax, and syndicators such as United Stations Radio Network, DIR Broadcasting, The Global Satellite Network and others...I have become a permanent fixture in the New York rock & roll radio and broadcast community. In the 80s & 90s, I spent 10 years at Infinity Broadcasting's local station in NYC, WXRK (K-Rock), and wrote and produced several internationally syndicated radio programs including "Rolling Stone Magazine's Continuous History of Rock & Roll," for Rolling Stone Magazine Productions and the ABC Rock Radio Network, "RockWatch," for The Global Satellite Network and "New Waves" for NPR." I've had the opportunity to spend time with a ton of celebrities, actors & actresses, rock stars, bands and political & sports figures. Sadly, some of them have passed away since. Some brief impressions of just a few of the people I have interviewed:

David Bowie- very polite & well spoken
Wilt Chamberlain- the biggest hand I ever shook
Billy Joel- a regular guy
Elton John- talkative, articulate & friendly
Paul McCartney- I was staring at his finger nails and shoes!
Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart)- their dogs were crawling all over me throughout the interview
ZZ Top- farting all through the interview at the Waldorf
Thomas Dolby- a genius
Robin Gibb (Bee Gees)- one of my favorite interviews of all time

For the few years when I was out of radio, I ran a bakery, built some houses in Westchester, owned a restaurant, did some freelance marketing, travelled and raised a family. I've been a lifelong resident of the New York Metropolitan area, including NYC, Westchester County and Fairfield County in Connecticut.  I dedicate time to several charities: The Pediatric Cancer Foundation, PeaceOUTside Campus-The Lindsay Bonistall Foundation, The National Alliance on Mental Illness,  and Open Door Family Medical Centers, where I'm a past member of their Foundation Board. I joined The Peak near its inception in June of 2004. After seeing a bus poster for a new radio station and listening for a half hour, I knew I had to work there and have been named Best of Westchester by the readers of Westchester Magazine multiple times.  After 20 years at The Peak, I can honestly say that there is plenty of new, vibrant and meaningful current music.  I continue to host live shows and speak with artists of today and the future.

In addition to my my daily program on 107.1 The Peak locally and nationwide from 2-6 PM Monday through Friday eastern time, I also write, produce and voice the award winning 10@10 program heard daily at 10 AM and 10 PM and rebroadcast on the 10@10 Weekend Replay every Sunday at 4 PM.  The After 6 section of my show is a freeform hour of stories and music from the Fink archives of memories and memorabilia.

I'm married to a girl I went to high school with and we have three kids; our son and twin girls are adults living, working and raising their families in the NY Metropolitan area.
